Hiya Monster! Thanks for the condolences. It's tough, yeah. As is the living situation, as is dealing with the d-bags on animenation.com. Ah well, life can be complicated. I appreciate the sympathy. As for Mao, thanks for the concern. I mean, I know he was not a nice guy, believe me. The thing is, m...

"To be honest, I'm more than a little pissed that you neglected to mention that fact and feeling more than a little used." Errrr... uhhh.... I'm gonna assume that's a joke? (gulp) Actually, I DID post about my sale on AnimeNation (in another thread and, quite frankly, under another username). It did...

Wow! That Geppy-X really IS an ultra-Getter homage.

Reminds me also of the robot from Kikaioh (called Tech Romancer in America), which had a 2-vehicle multi-combiner, a sort of junior Getter... I forget its name.

And how could I have forgotten Gekiganger 3?!?

So I went to AnimeNation.com and made a post about the matter that concerns me. Here's the thread: http://www.animenation.net/forums/showthread.php?t=216474 I was shocked. This has to be the most hostile online community I've ever come across -- even more hostile than the Macrossworld forum, and tha...

Templars versus Vore I think Oestricher is, himself, a Contravore. He could be very, very old, and have been around for more than a thousand years. After all, he'd be a fully-human-looking android; lifespan is not an issue for one such as he. He could have joined the Templars back while they were hi...

Menacing aliens: THE VORE I tried to come up with a group which is powerful, threatening, cool, and interesting. A group that can have armies and characters. I came up with the Vore. First, an explanation of the name: -vore: A combining form meaning “one that eats.” What is eaten is specified by the...

The Knights Templar in 3060AD Back in the days of the Crusades, the Knights Templar secured and guarded the travel routes from Europe into the holy land. They also escorted travelers on said routes. In addition, the Knights Templar were highly regarded, powerful, and wealthy as all get-out. They wer...

Knights Templar versus The Vore

Hey all, So. Yeah... let's see here. I'm active on another board, called "Tri-Gate Creations," which is dedicated to people who customize 1/18th-scale action figures (GI Joe, Star Wars, Microman, WWE Build N' Brawl, etc). TGC has it's own creator-owned universe, as it were. It's called "3060" (as in...

I totally love Getter Robo. ("Gettaaaaaaaaa BEAM!!!") I've tried to figure out how many different Getters there are out there, and all their names. It ain't easy. I mean, for one thing, I don't remember the names of ANY of the Getter Machines. Still... #1 There's the original Getter Robo, composed o...

Gall Force would make a good movie

I mean, like, a Hollywood movie.

Think about it. A buncha hot chicks, lots of CGI space combat, some monsters, and an epic story.

It'd sure be better than the Star Wars crud we've been getting this century! :)

Thanks, Mister March, for the welcome-back. :-) AND for the recommendation. I'll try them. You rock!!! As for being back, yeah, I live in Connecticut now. Family matters drew me here, to the woods. I hate it, but I'm making do. At least I have more time to do things like, oh, post to this site.... ....

I wish I could be of more help but I don't have much time these days for any sort of Internet activity. It's interesting to me that you bring up the Ebay issue. This week I've begun thinking about selling old manga volumes on Ebay because I need garage space. Does Ebay really take a big cut out of ...
