Re: FSS dying?

Yeah, I was about to order a Terror Mirage... and the very day I had finally made up my mind to place an order, it went out of stock. Kinda pissed about that... I actually do have a pretty good WSC Junchoon, recast. But I am slowly trying to collect a full set of WSC originals... which is why I want...

Why not? Simple. I don't think any 1/144 (of a normal size MH) is worth 50000yen. Jack split the cost of the Junchoon with other people. The "1/144" Jagd Mirage from Tani was originally 69800yen. The 1/220 Jagd Mirage was, I think, 19800yen. If the kit was 1/100, I might have considered it. But 5000...

I have a recast of the ST Hydra, it's been around a while. I don't know about the original, but my recast has clear leg armor and some other clear parts, in addition to the clear shoulder armor. When ordering a 1/100 (from a recast site I assume?), just make sure you don't confuse the Volks 1/100 Hy...

Well.... you're not me, and I have no other business or shopping to do in San Francisco at the moment. I already mailed the money, and I will trust in the postal service and the seller's competence in packing kits properly. I don't care about the driving or the $10 shipping, I only care about damage...

I know it would still be an unfair price for 1/100, I just mean that if it was 1/100, I could maybe persuade myself to get one, if it looked really good. But I can't persuade myself to pay that much for 1/144, no matter what. The price would still be much too high even if the kit is in 1/100 with cl...

If the kit was 1/100, I might have considered it. But 50000yen for 1/144... no way. Yeah, 50000yen, I know time equals money and it took Tani a long time to complete this kit, but what in the world is in this kit to get this kind of price? It still won't justify the cost of this kit even if it does ...

Yup, 1/144, 300(?) pieces, 50000yen. Needless to say I won't be buying an original, even if I had the chance. Sorry to interject, I'm just a tad confused here... Am I understanding correctly that Tani's KoG V3 is both 1/144 AND $500????? If this is indeed the case, someone please get me some of what...

Mmm... there's definitely proportion issues with Phantom. Which is strange... since the Schpeltor had great proportions. Now that I think about it though, wasn't the ST Hydra Mirage pretty good as well? Not as perfect as the Volks, but still not bad. So I guess it's primarily the Phantom which looks...

Well, some kits aren't good, sure. But the Schpeltor they did a long while back is really good, IMO. Definitely a hell of a lot better than the Volks MM Schpeltor Lonn w/ Buster. In fact, I like the ST/Kaiyodo Schpeltor almost as much as WSC. And I guess there are some people who like the ST LED V3 ...

That Tani V3 is rediculous, the kit isn't even clear...I know the Tani name does add a lot of interest but damn, what is a person getting when buying this kit other than a 1/144 kit? Well, it looks like it has a lot more parts than any other 1/144... even just the arm seems to be over a dozen piece...

I know him. But it's not like he's a friend. And I would have to drive at least an hour each way to go and pick up the kit in person. 2 hour drive? Or $10 for shipping? I think I'll just get it shipped. You live in the near by area, just pick it up whenever you drive down to that sector. Besides, do...

Re: FSS dying?

Dolls are a pretty common thing, no? No surprise that there are high-end dolls for people with the money. My sister wanted one actually... and plans to get one someday when she has enough spare $$$. As for WSC, I'd say about half the back-catalog is available at HLJ... certain kits I want to get ori...

I was speaking about auctions in general. Not this one in particular. As for why people don't bid on his stuff, who knows. If you take the time to read the lengthy auction rules, they're reasonable. And $130 is a great price for an original SSS KOG still sealed in shrinkwrap. For the 1/144s he's sel...

That's why I said perhaps 'one day' :P

Now let's see if I can get the transaction concluded successfully...
