Man. The Groon is crying out for a 'proper' kit. From Volks or WSC. Or maybe even Silicon Tribe.

Well, buying is what supports the market. Not building.

I haven't been building anything lately, but I'm still supporting the market by buying.

But I suppose if people don't buy new stuff because they know they won't build it, that does affect demand.

Get to building folks!

Is there any chance that it's just a photo-etch detail up set for the existing Mighty Series kits?

I'd be bummed to see Volks wasting time crafting a whole new Mighty Series set.

IF the pattern of competition continues, then it is highly possible that Volks has a better one come out a few mth. after WSC rel. What pattern of competition? The last 2 WSC releases (Gastness and Flamberge) have not been one-upped by Volks (so far). And the last 2 Volks releases (Luminous Mirage ...

Wasn't WSC also working on a Berlin SR2?
Yes. And an Ashura Temple Prototype 03 as well.

Since when are WSC kits fixed pose? They are usually free pose.

And who said the arm can be raised? It's much more likely that they built a couple copies of the kit in different poses.

It does look a lot better. I just wish the design didn't have that lame looking arm mounted gun. The original design was nicer.

pic from the recent hobby show http://komica6.dreamhosters.com.nyud.net:8090/09/src/1161284607029.jpg basically says 1/100 100% new mold injection mortar head kit under devlopment looking at the sword.....maybe a engage series? It does look like it could be a Engage Sr1 sword. A 1/100 plastic Engag...

Tachyon: Given that there's a 'tsu' character in the bike name, I'd suggest Paaki as the english transliteration. 'Hangaa' is the romanization for the second word, which transliterates to "hangar", i.e., "a place for storing vehicles" as opposed to "hanger". The 'tsu' character, when used in subscr...

Don't know what to do about the 'pakkii' name, but I believe ハンガー = 'hanger'.

Exactly.

I'm more into kits than the manga/story, but there's not a lot new in either category.

There should be some chitchat in the FSS models forum once we get some more news on the upcoming Volks Calvary R.

Well well well. I'm both happy and annoyed. I really like the buster variation, so I'm happy to see this kit. But I'm annoyed that they didn't just release this first. And I was sort of looking forward to seeing Volks release something else - entirely new. Like Heavy Cross, T-233, and so on. But sti...
