most if not all great stories (and Religions) have the same story elements you just mentioned,

-kingdoms vying for power
-heroic messiah
-swordfighting, (well fighting at least...)
-epic in scale
-ending in the defeat of some seemingly undefeatable empire

Can Enamels damage resin kits ?

Also I've heard spraycan transparent gloss is a great final coat for a smooth result ?

Anyone feel that the so-called "translucent" armor don't really look like what it should, as in Nagano's illustrations? I find it esp so in the case of LED. Quite disappointing actually
I agree. I think the most successful translucent kit is the Hydra Mirage

I saw a lot of FSS resin kits at Yellow Submarine and at a few stores in Akihabara. Akihabara was amazing for kit shopping. I also found some Bandai EX kits that are unavailable even on the net. But I spent most of my money on manga (I bought all the japanese FSS books and the english editions up to...

Thankyou so much for your help ! I'm going to head to Kino today and try and pick up the new english volumes and any Characters books they may have. I guess I'll stick to buying kits online. Though it is always great to see built FSS kits. I remember going to Yellow Submarine in Tokyo and seeing a S...

I'm in LA for the holidays.
So I thought I might as well take advantage...

Does anybody know of any Model kit stores in LA that might carry FSS resin kits ?

Thanks for the replies.

I've had a great experience with Hobbyfan.
But has anybody actually ordered from E2046 ?

My only reservation about E2046 is that they are based in Hong Kong, whilst HobbyFan is San Francisco...

Online Recast Suppliers

I use HobbyFan. But there are some kits at E2046 that aren't available elsewhere.
What are E2046 like ? Anybody here used them before ?
Has anyone used Chrome head or Plamania also.

Also, if there are any other major sites out there please share some links.

Thanks.

I guess after reading this, you could say that an undercurrent of FSS is the merging of Man and his creation... Amaterasu (Human) + Lachesis (Synthetic) = Kallen Kaine (Synthetic) + Meeth (Human) = Maximum I remember reading here somewhere about Kaine sleeping with Queen (his mother) and hence being...

Excellent diagram. A few questions, 1) Is Amaterasu Oomikami "omnipotent deity" the same as Kallen ? 2) Does anybody have any theories about Amaterasu's virgin birth ? I mean is he a mutation ? Was he designed ? Or was it divine intervention (Joker maybe)? 3)Who are Max/MX's parents ? It seems uncle...

I think Nagano's designs were mean't for resin. I was go so far as to say that Nagano design's with a resin scratch builder (to achieve his perfected pose/perspective MH illustrations). For example, Nagano is proud of his 'no seams' MH designs. Something that would be impossible with a plastic kit. ...

What about the Super Empire and the Chinese text when the Yen-Xing turn up...
I'm sure Nagano is drawing some comparison with China and Japan.
Though I don't know much of inter~Chinese/Japanese history.

Spoiler,
<<I thought the KOG was for Sopp & Lachesis only?
Also, what engine does the KOG run on ? I had assumed it was an exceptional Mirage engine
