KOG wrote:If the kit was 1/100, I might have considered it. But 50000yen for 1/144... no way.
Why not? Jack bought his 1/144 Junchoon for something like 68K yen. or was it US$468?

Besides, did Tani make the JagdMirage in 1/144 and 1/220 at a higher price?

I don't care about the driving or the $10 shipping, I only care about damage via USPS or fly by night courier like UPS. My last shipment, so happened to be last mth., was damaged due to mishandling from UPS. I am still dealing w/ it. If I were you, make it a one full day shopping day in SF and make ...

http://offer.aol.ebay.com/ws3/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=2271257498 must be this bid. But FSS comic books is everywhere in ebay. What's the big deal? If you missed this one, buy the next one. They are listed at around $8-$9 or so. If you want to save $$ on shipping, why not use surface mail? I did ...

You live in the near by area, just pick it up whenever you drive down to that sector. Besides, don't you know that guy? You've been to his store before it closes down.

Yay, posting auctions on forums is a great way to drive bids up. :x So uh, is anyone else planning to bid on this? I was thinking about it, but I don't want to get into any bidding wars. Drive up his bid? You're kidding. For whatever reasons, noone bids on his stuff. A few yr. from now, he will sti...

ok, I didn't realize that. But a 140 pixel wide avatar vs. a 100 pixel wide avatar, hardly save a sec. even on 56K.

THe reason I bring it up is that a 100 pixel wide avatar is too small, depends on the pic. itself on the avatar, it could be too small to view and it's like an eye exam.

Sorry for the trouble. Just changed my avatar. Now it's 100 by 6x  Still looking good? :P I was hoping the avatar can get to be as big as your former avatar size. Because it is at the margin of the left "intro" page anyway. Whether it is 100 pixel or more, if it doesn't kiss near that ...

I notice the back heel of the new SR1 seems to be off in the air. So the SR1 is resting on one foot and the front of the 2nd foot. Am I right?

Anyhow, he's 2nd one looks better than the 1st.

You know, I've seen this guy's work for a while. You would think for something like SR1, he would have started it a long time ago. After all, SR1 is an old kit, and you can see the last 7 - 8 kits he did are all new kits. And speaking of Japanese modeller web site, is there any good one that has don...

well, if you put in that way, then Ezboard at $60/yr. is even better. Their only problem is there is no storage spc. for you to upload photo. So you need your own storage spc. and provides a link. I can Gear and many other web site with this software works the same way. So no difference. Waxtrax, on...

No, Arnold needs the money. See David's post today. So we are thru as we speak. Ezboard that I set up is also no good anymore. They just added spyware to any free board. So I'm abandoning that place as I don't want anyone to pay $60 or so per year. Not to mention I don't have the money anyway. As to...
