Gaia Gear

I've always loved the Gaia Gear articles in Newtype. So much so that I cut those pages out before thinning the magazine stack a few years ago. Does anyone know much about it?

We have nowhere else to go man. I like it here. There's very little traffic, but it's always worth reading. Too many other sites are too easily distracted with other stuff.

It's a tank from the series. Nagano's armor from the series has be harshly neglected over the years. I'd kill for some 1/35th scale armor from FSS.

Has anyone stated the obvious? Well, it sure looks like that was a prototype for the ZZ Gundam design.

Same here. This new Macross couldn't have come at a better time for me as now. My other interests have completely fallen flat. It was great to have a show this good to look forward to for the last 26 weeks. The conclusion was very satisfying as well. I should be getting a VF-25 kit on Friday get my ...

I'm much more upset that Nagano hasn't made any new FSS panels in, what? Three years?

As to the armor, there is a chance that there is radiation that caused the sub-armor to glow.

No kidding. I've got the little one where he's playing on his back. But 1/100th scale adult version would be awesome.

The hand sketches are really nice. I'm a huge fan of concept work. Nagano's sketches are superb and I really love the Star Wars concept are as well. Stuff done by hand just feels more human. I don't care much for the perfect Illustrator style of art that's taken over Anime and Manga. I prefer Shiro'...

Well, first, your illustration style is BEAUTIFUL. I think the proportions on the leg could use some adjustments. At a glance it would seem that the mech should end up with "Pan" or "Faun" arrangemnet. I would suggest looking for some goat or animal photo reference. I think a big cloven hoof would w...
