"To be honest, I'm more than a little pissed that you neglected to mention that fact and feeling more than a little used." Errrr... uhhh.... I'm gonna assume that's a joke? (gulp) It's no joke, GG. Try to look at the situation from my perspective. I know nothing about Asahiya Bookstore in NYC nor w...

It's sad that things didn't work out at AnimeNation. It is an immature board, but there's really no way to avoid it with a community that large populated mostly by teens. It is a young community of anime geeks - and generalizations aside - that demographic isn't exactly known for maturity and social...

Both Amazon.jp and HMV Japan are carrying the Macross Chronicle. Both websites have an English button which you can select to help you navigate and purchase the right item. I've ordered many things from Amazon Japan over the years and never had a problem.

Macross Chroncile

I received my shipment of the first issue of the new Macross Chronicle today and I've had a chance to look it over. As we all know, the Macross Chronicle is not one book but a series of loose-leaf style sheets inside a thin folder (with three-hole punch in each sheet). The first issue contains 20 pa...

Damn, Ben. I'm really sorry to hear that. I mean, it's not like I know you all that well, but you've always been one of the nicest people online (and I mean "nice" as in not a moron, has it together, doesn't take sh** from people but has a good sense of tact). And you're also a talented artist. For ...

Wow, long time no see, grebo.

You might try AnimeNation. They are a major anime site and I think they have a for sale section.

July 23, 2008 Minor Update Just a minor update to the Macross Mecha Manual , featuring only 14 new profiles. The update consists mainly of corrections and revisions. A portion of the existing artwork contains color errors that occur when a Photoshop PSD file is down-converted to a 256 color gif. I'...

Reviews for episodes 11 and 12. I watched episode 13 and I'm not sure what happened yet, but it's AWESOME! :) Episode 11, "Missing Birthday" [SPOILER]This episode starts out with adverts for Ranka's first live performance intercut with a conversation between Leon and Kathy riding in a car. I wasn't suggesting a change to the gears site; my apologies if I came across that way. Website navigation and presentation is more important than high resolution images. I know the large majority of users seem to favor 1024x768 resolution. My own website uses much smaller pictures as well because o...

I usually only check once or twice a week because there's not much activity. But I am keeping an eye on your work, both through here and through DA. It's just the nature of the FSS fandom. There's not very many of us. Hell, I'm a newb to FSS and I had to really dig and search for FSS information and...

I would kill for some high resolution scans of some FSS mecha and pictures. Do you know whats out there on the net for FSS wallpaper? Me neither, because I don't think they exist :) I'm way too much of a FSS newb to know what's out there as far as line art, paintings and other art work for the franc...

There's like 5 or 6 groups subbing Macross Frontier. One group (Gattai I believe) has since dropped out, only to be replaced by another (not sure of the name). I've lost track. For my money, I've found the Shinsen subs more accurate "most" of the time. I believe Shinsen also has plans to do a defini...
