Infinity

Have any of you heard of Infinity? It is a miniatures game, and there are some Appleseed/GITS inspired mecha in it, which come in the smaller scale, along with power armours. Some examples: Landmate style: http://www.infinitythegame.com/infinity/en/2011/miniatures/o-yoroi-kidobutai/ http://www.infin...

The Five Stars and equivalent in L-Gaim

Some of these are easy: Gastogal = Delta Belun; the planet with the floating city and origin of the emperor and his temple knights Mizun = Juno; the last planet conquered in the second holy war; the descendent of the king of the strongest tribe there will rise up and rebel against the empire. Some a...

Re: August 2013 Newtype scans

Is the Chinese pronunciation because of it being said by Nein?

I remember when the Machine Mess. first appeared (or an early appearance) they were all talking in Chinese characters, which Nagano requested to be left untranslated.

Re: GTM - to be released in 2011 !!

I've been around, but there hasn't been much recently in FSS for me to post about but I pop in now and again. Most recently about Dragon's Heaven in the general mecha board.

For now, I'm eager to see how the story plays out got GTM.

Re: Dragon's Heaven

I've seen scans of random pages, so I know it exists.

The soundtrack is pretty amazing, Orion's March gets your blood running.

Re: Anyone use brushes for painting models?

I haven't done much mecha models recently, as I mostly do miniatures but I generally hand brush even the larger vehicles. I do have an airbrush but it's not a very good one; I might get one sometime along the line. I generally use GW or Vallejo, more of the latter and less of the former now. I think...

Dragon's Heaven

I recently saw Dragon's Heaven, which was pretty short but sweet. The style really shows off Kobayashi's designs well (better than Gundam did IMO). Anyone else seen this OVA? Also, there is apparently a manga of it from around the same time, which had some differences and more mech designs but I hav...

Re: FSS Starships

Like a write up on them, like the Dorrey? Or just the section with length, weight etc? (though I notice the Prowler fighter seems to be just an image at the moment). Is there any material beyond the manga, as they don't talk about it much? (I think there might be a length for the Super Empire flagsh...

FSS Starships

Are there any good shots of the starships used in FSS?

I remember there was the Super Empire one that was much bigger than the ones around Kallamity when flashing back to Ned Svans (I think). Did Nagano ever do full drawings of them in a separate section?

Saw this on the news too. I didn't expect it to turn out so well, actually.

The great equalizer are those twin rapid fire Buster Launchers. Those babies can lay waste to a whole lotta terrain, very quickly. Those are the reasons I place the Jagd above the Machine Messiah. However without those Busters, I would probably give the MM the edge. The rapid firing only works with...

I saw the first few episodes a while back, though I never finished the series. It was quite good, but I couldn't abide by 3D rendered animation.

Would you definitely rate Jagt over the MM?

Clearly Jagt is far above ordinary MH, but is it so far so it compares with MM?

Also FSS is all about fate, destiny, with some godlike characters who can travel through time and space and dimensions, etc... I basically hate that (time paradox, fate stories, "oh noes! I'm gonna die and I can't do anything about it, so I'm gonna spent all my money, lolz"), but FSS is great enoug...
