Re: Size comparisons

For what it's worth, Mortar Headd kits have grown in size over time. To give you an idea, I used to have this old (20 years ago) Kaiyodo 1/100 vinyl Led Mirage kit that was about the size of a 1/100 Gundam. Their green Berlin (resin) was similar in size. Volks made their MHs a tad larger, then WSC c...

Re: FSS scheduled for May 2013 Newtype

I imagine that there was a considerable period of post-production for the film whereby Nagano probably wasn't as solicited. If he works at a decent pace, it's quite reasonable to think that he could have gotten a bit of a head start on the manga.

Re: New LED Mirage and KOG kits in Newtype

I think the real issue is that there are too many obsessives and perfectionists involved in FSS. Nobody seems willing to accept "good enough". It's always "perfect or we don't make it". I'm willing to bet a lot of the fans would be quite happy with "good enough" at this point. It's certainly possib...

Re: New LED Mirage and KOG kits in Newtype

Seems outlandishly steep for a 1/144-ish figure that will, by the very fact that it's an assembly line item, likely not be as good as the average built FSS model. If Nagano really wants to grow his fan base, he should stop farting-around and animate FSS the way it should have been done decades ago r...
