Is the Re Boot series of the manga available in English format? I see them listed on Amazon.ca and the description says the book is in English. I suspect amazon is wrong.
I last visited here late 2008. I drifted away since Toys Press went dormant with the English translations.

Wave injection plastic Engage Octaver SR-1
Over at Hobby Link Japan, they list two kits by Wave of the 1/144 Engage SR-1
Kit #140 and #141
I cannot see any difference between the two kits. the prices are the same.
Does anyone know what is the difference?

Does Toys Press do reprints?
When i got into FSS several years ago, i tried to obtain the various art books. I was able to order Knight Flags through Seattle Kinokuniya but they were unsuccessful in ordering the rest of the books for me as they were out of print. Last year I found Plastic Style at the Animate store in Mongkok d...

Holy Atoll Empire runes are from the Ba Gua/ I-ching
I never really took notice until recently, but some of the runes found on the clothing of the Atoll Empire characters are taken from the Bagua/I-ching. The most common triagram are the three long lines seen on the veil of the Art Fortissmo's Engage Octaver SR1 and the A-Toll, on Fatima Auxo's and Fa...

Canadian Fan You might also want to include the TOJ's in your order as well since Kinokuniya will charge you a "minimum" shipping fee on UPS service. The store has about 6 of the square bound versions of manga at regular price. I did not look at them to see exactly which ones, but they seem to be so...

Rubel Colus I have not carefully done a comparison, but I remember that you have mentioned before that the manga pages found in the first 11 issues of TOJ contain some frames of the story that are not found in the English translated version. When I thumbed through the pages last night, it appears th...

I visited Beaverton (Portland) Kinokuniya today and saw that the store is selling the old staple bound versions for USD1.00 EACH. They placed in two boxes underneath a table of other discount books by the cashier's counter. In my opinion, this is a very good deal, outweighing the fact that it is mis...

Maybe someone is interested in this information? Today, I visited the Kinokuniya store at Beaverton, Oregon (near Portland) and bought Tales of Joker 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 19 for USD1.00 EACH. The original price was USD12.00 each. There are still some copies of these left over. The same store is tryin...

Canadian Fan Imperial Hobbies still has SQUARE BOUND issues #1, 3, 7, 8 and 11. I visited the store during my lunch break today. The five books look to be still in good shape even though they have been on the shelf for a long time. You should write /phone them to ask Dave the manager how much to buy...

I thought I should post my questions here instead of starting a totally new thread as these questions are related to the subject (upcoming story). There are some new characters introduced in Japanese book #11. I would like to know a little about them such as are they a headliner? what MH do they ope...

Happy Hopping. Canada Post DOES charge a brokerage fee, which they call "handling fee". However, it is quite cheap. I believe it is a flat Cdn$5.00 because I have gotten parcels several times from the US of varying declared values in which I paid only $5.00 handling plus the GST on the value of good...
